Canon AE-1 Program
The AE-1 Program can choose both aperture and shutter speed, leaving you to focus the lens and wind the film by hand. It adds Program exposure to the manual-focus approach of the original AE-1.

Is it your kind of camera?
For a first manual-focus SLR that can choose both exposure settings while you learn.
Program mode chooses the shutter speed and aperture. You still focus and wind the film yourself.
Keep in mind Program mode needs a compatible FD lens set to its automatic position and a working battery.
